It is a key objective of Grepton to protect the personal data of visitors (users). The data protection declaration presents the data collection practice used by the majority of Grepton web sites and services. This Declaration shall not apply to Grepton websites, services and products where this Declaration is not disclosed or referenced, and where specific data protection declarations are applied.

1. Disclaimer in e-mails

The official e-mails sent by Grepton employees contain the following text:
"This message and any attachment are confidential and are legally privileged. Please visit our web site and see more information about this letter in our Data Protection Declaration."

Please note that any dissemination, distribution, copying or use of or reliance upon the information contained in and transmitted with this e-mail by or to anyone other than the recipient designated above by the sender is unauthorised and strictly prohibited. 2. Collection of personal data

Grepton Plc.'s website may request your personal data for the use of certain services, especially your name, telephone number and e-mail address. In case you do not wish to provide these data, you will not be able to use such services. By using the services and providing the requested data, you accept the data management principles and practice described in this Declaration.

Grepton Plc. stores the personal data provided to the company in a protected system. Personal data are only accessible to colleagues and partners and only to the extent as necessarily required for their work. The data are stored in Hungary; therefore such storage and management are subject to the Hungarian legal regulations.

Grepton Plc. shall not be held liable if the data it holds are obtained by unauthorised parties in an illegal manner despite Grepton Plc.'s acting in good faith and its compliance with due data protection measures.

Use of personal data

Grepton is collecting and using personal data for the purpose of operating and developing the web sites and providing the services and transactions you require. The aim of such use may be the provision of more efficient customer service, the simplification of the use of web sites or services by eliminating the need to supply the same data several times, research and analysis aimed at the development of the company's products, services and technologies, and the display of contents and advertisements according to your interests and priorities.

With a view to updating the information you provided and answering your questions, Grepton Plc's representatives may contact you at any of the contact data you supplied.

Grepton Plc. will not contact you for advertising purposes if no approval of such contact may be deemed from your part.

Sharing personal data

Your personal data will not be provided to any third parties without your consent, except for cases listed in this Declaration. On certain Grepton sites you are asked whether you agree to the sharing of your personal data with Grepton's assigned partners so that they may send you commercial information on their products, services and proposals.

Grepton may have access to your personal data and deliver those to third parties if it believes it is required for any of the following reasons: (a) compliance with the law or compliance with legal requirements in legal proceedings with respect to Grepton or the web site; (b) protection of Grepton's ownership rights (including the execution of the contracts); (c) in urgent cases to protect the personal safety of Grepton users or the public.

3. Collection of technical data

Collection and processing of website traffic data

Grepton Plc. is collecting technical data on your website visiting habits, i.e. we may capture the sites you visited, what links to clicked on, how much time you spent on the individual web pages, and we may capture all the data that are sent by web browsers to each web site visited, e.g. the IP address of the visitor, the type and language of the browser, and the address of the web site which directed you to the Grepton site.

Grepton reserves the right to process the data and make statistical analyses in an aggregate manner, i.e. in a way that you can not be identified.

Use of cookies

Grepton's web site is using cookies for enabling sign-in to the web site and customising the site. Cookies are small text files placed by the server of the web page on the hard disk of the user's computer. Cookies contain information that is later readable for web servers in the same location as the web server creating the cookies. Cookies are not suitable for running programmes or spreading viruses on your computer.

It is your decision to accept or reject the cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but by changing the settings such cookies may generally be rejected. However, in case the cookies are rejected, you may not be able to sign in or use the cookie based elements of the Grepton site or services.

Fight against junk mail

Grepton is committed to the fight against junk mail. Grepton shall never send any unwanted marketing material to its visitors, and shall not sell or lend the list of e-mail addresses registered on its websites to third parties.

4. Amendment of the Data Protection Declaration

Grepton shall regularly update this Data Protection Declaration in accordance with changes in its services and the legal regulations, and based on feedback from users. Following the amendment of this Declaration, we shall modify the date of the last update disclosed at the beginning or end of the Declaration.
